Croatia Presented as a “Halal-Friendly Destination” at the Halal in Travel Global Summit
Tourism sector experts gathered on 31 May for a panel on tourism with a focus on cruises.
It was a great honour that one of the panellists was Ms. Ivana Karanikić, owner of the Croatian halal-certified travel agency Prolingua Travel.
Ivana presented Croatia’s potential as a halal-friendly destination, and her concrete contribution to branding “Lijepa Naša” in this way is a luxury tourist tour for Muslim women along the Adriatic coast.
The tour is a yacht cruise with 18 cabins, and visits to sunny Hvar and the beautiful coves of the historically significant island of Korčula are just some of the stops during an unforgettable eight-day journey.
“If I could be anywhere in the world right now, I would like to visit Croatia again,” stated Johnny Judianto, Executive Director of Best Tour, based in Indonesia, who is justifiably known as a veteran of the tourism industry, at the end of the panel.
This statement alone is proof that Ivana’s presentation was highly successful, and all those interested in the potential of the halal market will have the opportunity to hear from our experienced tourism professional on 4 and 5 October in Zagreb at Halal Business Forum 2022.
