Halal certificate awarded to NutriS company.

On 2 March, a halal certificate was awarded to one of Croatia’s more innovative companies – NutriS.

Integration with technology leads to efficient changes: food production processes are accelerated, and business process improvements are achieved quickly and effectively. The necessity of such an approach is evidenced by the fact that over the next 30 years, the world will need 60% more food.

“NUTRIS.tech™ has partnered with SiccaDania, a global technology leader in plant protein processing, to create a unique concept and process for producing plant-based food. The winning combination of Danish engineering excellence and Croatia’s innovative approach, in synergy with knowledge, experience and creative ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking, will contribute to the sustainable development of society, while at the same time creating better food, together,” the company emphasizes.

“Halal certainly implies the principles of a circular economy, so we are always pleased when we award a halal certificate to companies that are fully aware that we cannot build profit by destroying the environment,” emphasized Assoc. Prof. Dr. sc. Aldin Dugonjić, Head of the Centre.
