Halal Certificate for Slavonian Organic Products

On 11 June 2021, at the premises of the BB Oil olive oil company, a halal certificate was ceremonially presented by Dr. sc. Aldin Dugonjić, on behalf of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification of the Islamic Community in Croatia, to Lidija Ambroš, Executive Director of the company. In this way, the ecologically cold-pressed oils and flours, products of the olive oil producer from Bijelo Brdo, received yet another confirmation of quality and established themselves as high-quality products that are continuously validated in the demanding global market. Cold-pressed sunflower, rapeseed, flax, hazelnut and almond oils are the first in Croatia to hold halal quality status, enriching the range of high-quality food products. The halal certificate award ceremony was also attended by the Chief Imam of the Osijek Medžlis, MSc Senad ef. Hevešević.
