Head of the Centre visits President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy

Today, the Head of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, Assoc. Prof. Dr. sc. Aldin Dugonjić, visited the Croatian Chamber of Economy and met with its President, Dr. sc. Luka Burilović. At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of the Centre congratulated the President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy on his re-election and wished him much success in his future work. Good cooperation to date was noted, and future plans were discussed with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of the Croatian economy in the halal market.

Among other topics, discussions were held on the Halal Business Forum 2022, planned for 4 and 5 October 2022 in Zagreb. The Forum will include panel discussions, a scientific conference, and a specially designed programme of individual meetings (B2B) to connect qualified buyers with manufacturers, as well as tourism stakeholders with the global halal market.

From the very beginning, the Croatian Chamber of Economy has recognized the potential in halal quality and the halal market, which can further enhance the value, quality and competitiveness of domestic products, and has on numerous occasions provided support for the implementation of individual projects.

Also participating in the meeting were MSc Edina Mešić, Head of the Quality Department at the Centre, and Prof. Dr. sc. Dragan Kovačević, Vice-President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy for Agriculture and Tourism.
