Dear partners,

Dear entrepreneurs, holders of halal certificates,

Bosna Bank International d.d. Sarajevo and the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, in cooperation with partners, invite the business community and entrepreneurs from Croatia to participate in the 3rd International Halal Industry Fair – Sarajevo Halal Fair 2023. The organizers announce this year’s edition of the fair with a rich programme and the presence of leading global experts from the fields of halal industry, business and academia.

This year’s third Sarajevo Halal Fair 2023 will be held from 17 to 19 May 2023 in Sarajevo (Hotel Hills Ilidža). The largest halal industry fair in the Western Balkans and Southeast Europe will be attended by distinguished domestic and international experts in this field. At the same time, the International Congress on Halal Quality will be held, organized by BBI Bank and the Agency for Halal Quality Certification, together with the Faculty of Technology of the University of Tuzla, the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), and numerous other domestic and international partners.

Sarajevo Halal Fair is a unique fair and an opportunity to connect representatives from all parts of the halal industry chain, including private companies, public corporations, accreditation bodies, government officials and other representatives of the halal market. The halal market is one of the most dynamic global markets, recording significant growth trends year after year and offering great potential for development. The fair opens up opportunities for business meetings with manufacturers, distributors and investors, along with G2G/G2B/B2B meetings, which represents an excellent opportunity for manufacturers to present their products and services to distributors and consumers from around the world.

The strategic partner of the 3rd Sarajevo Halal Fair is the Ministry of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton. The patron of the Fair is the Riyasat of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Fair is held with the support of BBI Bank’s shareholders: Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), as well as numerous other domestic, regional and international partners.

The organizers of the 3rd Sarajevo Halal Fair 2023 expect more than 100 exhibitors, with the participation of over 2,000 business entities and 10,000 visitors from around the world.

The organizers also highlight the activity “Halal Awareness Week”, as a series of activities aimed at familiarizing the public with halal and its significance, both for consumers and for the domestic market and industry, will be organized from 12 to 19 May 2023.

We invite businesspeople from Croatia to take advantage of this unique opportunity for top-level business networking with some of the leading global and regional representatives of the halal industry. All those who hold a halal certificate are invited by the organizers to present their products and services as exhibitors, thereby promoting them to the regional and global market.
