Meeting with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia

On Tuesday, 3 June 2025, the acting head of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, Mr Muhamed Mandžić, received H.E. Ms Elma Kovačević-Bajtal, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia.

During the meeting, discussions focused on opportunities to strengthen economic ties between the two countries through the development of the halal industry, which is increasingly gaining importance as a bridge for economic cooperation, innovation, and mutual trust.

On this occasion, the acting head of the Centre announced that the Centre for Halal Quality Certification would participate in the European Halal Congress to be held on 16 and 17 June 2025 in Sarajevo. The Centre’s participation represents a continuation of active international cooperation and an additional impetus for connecting business entities from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the areas of halal certification, trade, and investment.

The Centre will continue to strengthen its presence at the regional and European levels, promoting the values of the halal standard as an instrument of quality, safety, and business excellence.
