Meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Croatia

A very substantive and cordial meeting was held at the premises of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Zagreb between H.E. Mr. Qianjin Qi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to the Republic of Croatia, and Muhamed Mandžić, Acting Manager of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification.

During the discussions, Mandžić shared his experiences from his recent visit to China and expressed satisfaction at the opportunity to gain direct insight into the country's economic development and technological progress. The conversation focused on possibilities for further developing cooperation between Croatia and China, particularly in the field of the halal industry, which represents an important link between the European Union market and the Asian region.

The meeting took place in an open and constructive atmosphere, with both sides emphasizing the importance of mutual understanding, knowledge exchange and the promotion of halal standards as part of sustainable and inclusive economic development.

A shared interest in strengthening institutional and business ties was confirmed, as well as continuing dialogue on projects and initiatives that could contribute to improving cooperation in the halal sector and related areas.
