A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Centre and the Agency for Halal Quality Certification from Bosnia and Herzegovina
As part of the 3rd European Halal Congress, held on 16 June 2025 in Sarajevo, the Centre for Halal Quality Certification and the Agency for Halal Quality Certification from Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This act established a formal basis for more intensive cooperation between the two certification bodies, with the aim of strengthening mutual trust, exchanging expert knowledge, and harmonising halal standards in the region.
Acting head of the Centre, Mr Muhamed Mandžić, addressed the participants of the Congress on this occasion, emphasising the importance of institutional networking and joint action in the development and strengthening of the halal industry at the European level.
It is worth noting that representatives of Croatian companies Vindija d.o.o., Hermes International d.o.o., and AC Hotel by Marriott Split also attended the Congress, recognising the importance of this event for the further development and international visibility of the halal market.
The Centre expresses its gratitude to the organisers for the high level of preparation of the Congress and its readiness for further cooperation in building a stronger European halal network.
