Official visit of the acting head of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification to the Croatian Standards Institute (HZN)

Today, the acting head of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, Mr Muhamed Mandžić, held an official meeting with the director of the Croatian Standards Institute, Mr Igor Božičević.

The Croatian Standards Institute (HZN) is the national body responsible for the development, adoption, and application of Croatian standards. HZN coordinates the work of technical committees, develops standards in line with international and European standards, and ensures their application in order to increase the quality, safety, and competitiveness of products and services in the market.

During the meeting, the excellent cooperation between the Centre for Halal Quality Certification and the Croatian Standards Institute was confirmed. This long-standing partnership is based on the active participation of Centre representatives in the work of technical committees, particularly Committee TO34/PO17 – Agricultural and Food Products; Food Safety Management Systems.

Through its engagement in the work of the committee, the Centre for Halal Quality Certification actively contributes to the development of standardisation, with special emphasis on the area of food safety and the quality of agricultural products. This cooperation represents an important step in strengthening standardisation processes at the national level, thereby further improving the safety and quality of food products in the market.

The meeting took place in an extremely positive atmosphere, to the mutual satisfaction of the participants. Both sides emphasised the importance of such meetings and expressed a firm commitment to the continuation of successful cooperation and its further improvement in the future, with the aim of achieving common goals in the field of standardisation and quality.
