Muhamed Mandžić, Director of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, visited the Zagreb Office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), where he met with Burak Güner, TİKA Coordinator in Croatia.

Muhamed Mandžić, Director of the Center for Halal Quality Certification, held a farewell meeting with H.E. Mr. Qi Qianjin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Croatia.

The meeting provided an opportunity to express appreciation for the constructive dialogue and cooperation, while highlighting the importance of strengthening international economic relations and exploring new opportunities in the halal industry and international trade.

The Centre for Halal Quality Certification is organising Business Forum 2026, which will be held on 12 November 2026 at the Novotel Zagreb hotel under the theme “Connecting Markets, Investments and Opportunities”.

The Forum will bring together representatives of companies, investors, chambers of commerce, institutions, and international business partners with the aim of strengthening economic cooperation, connecting markets, exchanging experiences, and creating new business opportunities.

The Centre for Halal Quality Certification is currently undergoing a surveillance audit by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) as part of the regular process of monitoring the Centre’s compliance and operations.

As part of the audit, Mr. Mesut Duru and Dr. Haluk Anıl visited the Centre and carried out a portion of the planned assessment activities. In the coming period, we also expect the arrival of Dr. Sibel Demircioğlu, which will continue the activities outlined in the surveillance programme.
