On 24 January 2024, at the premises of Perlis d.o.o., employees of the Centre for Halal Quality Certification conducted a training course for internal auditors.

The aim of the training was to familiarize the candidates with the requirements of halal quality and to educate them for the independent implementation of the system in production facilities and the preparation of the necessary documentation.

In Ulcinj, Montenegro—the southernmost town on the Montenegrin coast—a conference on halal tourism titled “Ulcinj: A Destination Where Cultures Meet” was held on 6 May 2022, organized by the Association for the Promotion and Development of Islamic Economy in Montenegro, with the support of the Municipality of Ulcinj.

One of the speakers at the conference was Assistant Professor Dr. Aldin Dugonjić, head of the Halal Quality Certification Centre, who spoke on the topic: “Halal Tourism—An Opportunity for Growth and Development in Southeastern Europe.”

Seminar on the Success of Halal Certificate Application in the International Market Held at the Croatian Chamber of Economy in Split.

The Centre for Halal Quality Certification was a guest on the regional programme of the Balkan Youth School

Organized by the International University in Novi Pazar and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, the International Scientific Conference on the topic “Opportunities and Perspectives of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises During and After the Covid-19 Pandemic” was held on 27 March 2021.

On 22 October 2020, the Centre for Halal Quality Certification, in cooperation with the Osijek County Chamber, organised and held a seminar entitled “Success of the Application of the Halal Certificate in the International Market.”
